Our Pledge to Parents
The staff at St. Timothy's continually strives to enhance the quality of the
preschool program. This is achieved by pursuing continuing education
courses, participating in the Quality Rating Scale developed by the Iowa
Department of Human Services, having an Early Childhood Environmental
Rating Scale assessment completed at the site and by implementing the
Quality Preschool Program Standards Project developed by the Iowa
Department of Education. Staff members at St. Timothy's have achieved a
B.A. or M.A in education and know that a quality early childhood
education is essential.
While our curriculum includes no specific religious materials, we do provide an atmosphere of Christian love, respect for individuals, and caring for each other in a manner that develops self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-reliance.
